The nonwovens take the form of needle-punched fabrics that are able to serve wide-ranging functions, such as protection, filtration, drainage and separation. The textile products are made of short single fibres, which - unlike wovens - are formed into randomly oriented layers. They are particularly notable for their high stretch resistance. Common applications include construction, landscaping, crafts and trades, and automotive components.
Wovens ensure the continuous percolation of water without any build-up of hydraulic pressure. Their special stress and strain behaviour guarantees ensures stability and the required filtration performance, even under heavy loads
A common way in the construction of large-size storage tanks is the usage of infiltration boxes wrapped with a PE-Foil that is waterproof welded. The flexible ENREGIS/X-Box-Controlbox design allows engineers to build underground stormwater storage tanks in different sizes and shapes. The geometry of the retention systems can be adapted to all requirements of the project. The high storage capacity of 95 % and the flexibility of the systems in height, width and length allows to build up big storage volumes in great depths, near to the surface or even under parking areas and streets.
These storage tanks or retention systems can consist of ENREGIS/X-Box, ENREGIS/Controlbox or a combination of these products. This allows the implementation of an individual number of inspection channels in each system.
